YOGA NIDRA

Yoga Nidra (“yogic sleep”) is a systematic, guided way of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Imagine your most amazing savasana, spent in a state between sleep and wakefulness, allowing the consciousness to function at a deeper level of awareness.

YIN/YANG

Yin/Yang yoga combines the active, movement-oriented style of vinyasa flow yoga (yang) with the meditative yin practice of using passively held floor poses (deep stretching for typically 3+ minutes per pose). This combination allows for a balanced result, ultimately facilitating strength building, stress release, improved flexibility and increased calmness of mind, body, and spirit.  Appropriate for all levels of yoga experience.

YIN – DEEP STRETCH

Yin Yoga is a practice that brings balance to active and stiff bodies alike, and calms the mind using passively held floor poses (deep stretching for typically 3+ minutes per pose). With Yin, the connective tissues that form our joints are gently stretched and rehabilitated, increasing flexibility and nourishing the meridians, the energy pathways that flow through the body. This type of yoga targets & accesses a deeper level of tissue (ligaments, tendons, fascia, joints) in the body than a yang (active) style of practice. Appropriate for all levels of yoga experience.
